HOU5E with Deadmau5 & other top of the line Dj's.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you will get a really nice New Year!
The 18th of December I went to see Deadmau5 live here in Stockholm, my expectations were really high because Deadmau5 is one of my favorite artists right now, or has been so for a longer period of time, I just LOVE his progressive sound, he just knockes me out.
There were alot of warm-up dj’s, but the ones I liked the most was: Phatzoo (part of Dada Life), Alex Lewerentz & Sandro Monte, I’ll post their myspace’s & blog’s just to give them cred and for you guys to log on to their sites to listen to their music and read what’s going on in their life’s.

Deadmau5 “Joel Zimmerman” started the set with his track “Sometimes Things Get, Whatever” a track which I think has some magic in it (is there a Deadmau5-track without any magic`?, I wonder!), it feels like,....just can’t describe it, you’ll have to listen for yourself, I found a link to it on the world wide web, NJOY:

Later on that night I hooked up with Sandro Monte and we went to another club that had Henrik B & Darwin & Backwall all over, great Dj’s, and for Sandro the night would be even better when Henrik B played his new remix that he had just finished that very day. Sheridan - Fatz Theme (2006)!, Sheridan as in Eric Prydz. Eric once recorded a telephone conversation with Luciano Ingrosso, the founder of Joia Records. In the call Luciano croon how "house" should sound like to some girls, and Eric records it all without Luciano knowing anything, later on in the time of christmas Prydz present Fatz Theme at a party which was very embarrassing for Luciano, but ofcourse funny in the aftermath. I actually met Luciano when I did the interveiw with Arno & Norman, great guy, I'll say hehe. Anyway they released "Fatz Theme" which sold millions of records. Here you have it, NJOY!

For those who don't know him: The end of the 70's, and everything starts from the love for black music. Black is the sound and the vibration that he spins on the decks; Black is the music that influenced him, that he explored and deepened during his first 20 years of career. Maurizio Gubellini has experienced the change, the evolution of the house music played around the Italian house clubs and instead of moving away from it, he actually became one of the first Italian djs that supported the music evolution.

Today his sound is definately house music, ranging from electro house progressive to soulful without forgetting classic house tracks. His dj sets are eclectic, always different and they cannot last less than 2 hours. When he gets on the decks Maurizio has just one guide: his personal taste through which he always manages to fill up the dancefloors and here is some great remixes. A DJ's DJ, this beloved and famously energetic veteran of the dance music scene has headlined all over the West Coast of the US and released two full-length albums on Moonshine Records. He is a contemporary of DJ Dan, who once called him "one of the most entertaining DJ's to watch live." Glaude is a Washington State native, but he first made a name for himself at the massive raves that San Francisco was known for in the early 90's (Cool World, Together As One, etc). He also had a residency with Funky Techno Tribe, a very highly reputed house music promoter/label in San Francisco. It was only logical that he end up on Moonshine, one of the premiere dance music labels in the US and the home of DJ Dan.
Glaude's first Moonshine project was Off the Hook, a compilation CD featuring funky house, deep house and techno tracks from several well-known producers. Like many of his fellow DJs, Glaude has begun to shift into more of a producer's role recently. His first forays into production was the track "Soul Cha Cha", followed shortly thereafter by "To The Soul". Both tracks were released as singles and included on his second full-length CD, Mixed Live.
